Post subject:  My first map...

Hey guys, am making my first map (ive only just got the ME working :\) I wanted to do something like a map pack by Fuggles called Combioned Arms Twin Pack, but for FoK, its a pair of maps where you start of with all the buildings for each race, but in FoK, the buildings for each race are different, like the necron monolith is no longer used, no more chaos daemon pit etc. So to make it work for FoK I need all the buildings, inc. the Grey Knights Landing Pad for the Imperial Guard, which is only in the mod, so I select my map to be for FoK, but when I go on "place object" it crashes (but not for regular DC maps), does anyone know why this might be?

It's a silly question, but are you using windows 7? Are you running the editor with admin rights? Have you tried on another pc to see if is the pc not the program?

yes i am using windows but only vista (yet i can still make maps for reg DC and my own mods without crashing), i have admin privilages, but i guess it could be my pc, would only having 512mb of RAM have anything to do with it? (and don't ask me how i run FoK on that :P) oh and btw, do u reckon i wud get into any trouble if i released it if i finish it, what with the whole idea of using all races at once being Fuggles' idea...
