also the shield. if you look at the circle in the middle of the shield its off at the top this with the skull looks to be totaly out of context with the Normal Space Marines term shield. i have made a shield its the exact look as the model. its on the texture.

have two shield the same type of model and ill make two types.

Meh its easier to just replace that skull for one that uses the same map than the chest skull, so you would only need to paint the shadow of the skull on the shield

I meant that i will change the the current 3d blob on the shield for a skull like the one on the chest...using the same map, so you wont need to add a skull on the shield texture but only put a shadow that will go behind the new 3dskull

Probably because there's two meshes being rendered. I cloned it so you could have two versions like the tt models.

a ok no problem. I sent Melooo the textures to sort out the problems with models, ill wait and till he is finished then ill finish off the terms textures. also Melooo if you could put the heros Term i.e. in the army painter so i can start them it would be cool.

looks that way, with Feugans work non existant and the main modders from fok not contributing as much or anything anymore, seems that meloos solo mode with assisstance here and there is the relative inheritor.

didn't mean it as an insult, (and appologies from myself Feugan if you saw it that way)

Just being realistic the mod team has thinned out to other projects and areas of work or just real life. So with Meloo's mod being the only one showing progress (although be it very slowly) it is the only one with any pressense atm, and that's mainly because people still know its all heavily continued on from FoK.

I still keep my eyes on PoK because I know Meloo still releases bits and pieces. but I have to admit even my eyes are wandering a lot lately.

POK guys is FOK its the old FOK as I remember it but a lot better. I don't see any problem with old fok and I don't know why you wanted it changed. total wast of time. all the work that went in to getting it that way and you try to change it and split the team which was a total fail. I would of stopped this but I was not here, Melooo will take this mod to finish and I will help him no problems. End of. So build a bridge and get over it or help or step aside.

Melooo is working on it as we speak and so am I. these textures are just a tip of what's to come lol.

Both of you, stop it. This won't help anyone, do either of you really want all you have put together to be for naught? Everything that has been build up over these past few years cast down?

I don't know code, I have no clue how this mod works. But it does, all that is needed is for people to stop bitching at each other and collaberate to get it to work. I accept that most are unavalible due to real life issues, I, myself, have an exam comming up in january and have got a fair amount of college work to sort out before then. And from what I can tell, Gorb is in a similar boat next to me.

If needs be, wait for a while. Let the academic year blow over and then see how things stand then. Otherwise, this isn't going to work.

1. I didn't really fail, I still have all the stuff I worked on. There's not a terribly large amount of stuff left to do but no one wants to play FoK without SPESS MAHREENZ and that's one of the two uncoded races.

2. Old team laughing me off? You mean like MK, Khorney, Ira, etc? Yeah, I don't think they'd have much off a problem with my changes...

If you want to respond to me again, do it in a civilized manner, please. I didn't come here to start a rage war and judging by how these forums have always been, I think the team splitting had a lot to do with people like you.

I never said I wasn't going to help anyone else, I said that I despise Soulstorm because of how poorly it ran. Crashes at 16 minutes and load times with a longer wait than going to the DMV.

That's why I coded Dark Crusade because it didn't affect anyone else's progress on the mod and I just like DC far better than Soulstorm.

Fuegan failed, but the guy who didn't like the direction of the FoK mod as directed by Mirage Knight and left to make his own mod . . . is now the true head of FoK?

Please get your facts right before bitching at Fuegan. PoK is Melooo's creation. It is not FoK. FoK diverged from Melooo's visions when Mirage Knight returned to make some changes to the development process of FoK - changes that he had wanted to make for some time, given how the mod's aim had been changed in his absence.

And yes, I do know what I'm talking about.

Fuegan knows how I feel about all this crap. also Grob how come i can't see all the threads in the forums? and why have you change the editing of posts? if i want to put new pics of textures i have to put it in the end post which i feel don't work.

Yea I think the flamer model is too old but ill work with what I have. Just waiting on Melooo to remap the Shield and I can move on. I also may have someone to finish off the Chaos Dread Animations for us in return ill work on there textures, But we have to wait and see, ;) Also we will have Imperial Guard weapon re textured by another artist who offered to help he is very good :)
