There's no such thing as 2 Handed in the new codex - and thunder hammers are one handed weapons.

I was playing as Space Marines earlier. I was playing against a random opponent that turned out to be Necrons. I decided to wait to choose my tactics. I don't know if I waited too long or something, but all the tactics went gray after I went to an upgraded to tier 2. I'm not sure if this is suppose to happen, and I wish that I had a screenshot of it now.

only because the model doesn't change doesn't mean it doesn't do anything. so yes combat blade upgrade does... well give em combat blades.

When Space Marines are allied with Imperial Guard (and possibly other races) the modified backpacks on marines with heavy weapons are coloured according to the Imperial Guard player's colour scheme as opposed to the Space Marine player's...

Armory research that says it will allow Sternguard Veterans to replace their bolters with plasma guns does not actually do that. I guess this is because we cannot seperate special and heavy weapons until Soulstorm?

Are there any plans to make the Predator heavy bolter sponsons an optional upgrade as they currently are on the Leman Russ tanks? It'd make the Predator less overwhelmingly expensive initially as well as add uniformity to the races and allow easier implementation of additional sponson options (if there are any).

I had more, but I'm having a brain meltdown.

The venerable dreadnought realy have some problem!

My V dredd was assaulted by 2 necron destroyer + 2 squad of warrior + both lord... and after loss his 1/5 hp, he was taken no more damage anymore, from any thing. The whole necron army assaulted him, whitout any succes.

I haven't got around to Space Marines yet (in fact, haven't gotten around to much due to real life), but, uh, since none of the units have S6, and you were so unwise as to assault as supposed to shoot the walking coffin, doing no damage was exactly what you may expect to happen. The 1/5 hps would be the damage your gauss weaponry deal on the way IN before you get into assault.

Does anyone read this thread entirely? :?

It's been noted that venerables have a signifigant damage reduction, to represent the "venerable" ability. Considering hey do such minor damage off glancing already it can be assumed that the crons just weren't dealing it out fast enough, not to mention if it was in cc it gets a signifigant defence increase for cc.

So that's a hell of a lot to take down eh? :)

When playing with heroes enabled whenever the captain 'levels up' the side bar says "Force Commander has reached... whatever"

I'm pretty sure the whole heroes system is in need of an overhaul. Hence many units not even gaining experience at this time. A lot of them go by different names in heroes than they do in the game itself. It'll probably all be fixed at the same time, possibly with the AI patch considering heroes seems to be part of the Dawn of Skirmish mod (sort of).

Can anyone acknowledge the bugs I reported earlier? I feel as if I'm seeing things.

Tooltips wrong. You can always get Plasma Weapons regardles. It replaces the Sergeants weapon with a Combi Plasma IIRC.

Again, that's down to someone who knows a bit more about it. However, it's reasonable.

Not much of a bug TBH, those are usually wrong, "combat squad" becomes "space marine half squad" etc.

Combat tactics, run and build menu in Grid Hotkeys for TM Builder are binded on 'A'. I know, Gid is not standard, but it is much more effective than normal DC hotkeys.

Hmm I'd still see a need for a fair bit of rearrangement especially for the abilities bar. I'll probably get it and try it when I have the time, never thought it would be very compatible.

I've built a Land Speeder today, upgrade it with Multi-Melta (without reinforcing) and noticed that, when it went to battle, it shot "something" (an invisible underslung weapon) that wasn't there.

I think the underslung weapon you were talking about was the assault cannon, and yes I have had this problem before. It normally just goes away after 2 to 4 min with me though.

When given the command to Run!, Tactical Squads exclaim with a different voiceset. Probably the Scout or Captain/Force Commander voiceset.

If you use an orbital bombardment with the chapter master and then upgrade him with a jetpack, you can use the orbital bombardment a second time with no reload time. 8-)

Anyways, can that be fixed?

that's odd, relic supposedly fixed that explotaible bug with the inclusion of global time recharger extension as an option for abilities code.....orbital bombdarments use this ext.....so that shouldn't happen. :S

Red circles mark the spot. Also affects the Chapter Master himself, and probably everybody else with leather straps hanging from their crotch.

Something else I've noticed: when the Champion the Honour Guard squad spawns with dies and there's no Standard Bearer yet we can instead re-recruit two Champions.

Rhino Tooltips from Machine Cult: "... APC of the Adaptes Astartes" should be Adeptus Astartes.

Land Raider Redeemer's Tooltips also from Machine Cult, second line: "The Redeemer's Fire Storm Cannons make the vehicle..." should be Flamestorm Cannons (like in the first line).

Terminators with cyclone missile launchers also seem to get special ultra-long ranged stormbolters. Might have been heroes (Legendary squad), but it specifically only affected that one Terminator who could fire the thing at targets hundreds of meters away.

Regular missile launchers seem to mess up their firing animation a lot.

The MK V. drednought left leg (if you see from front), is strangely "shaking" a bit. In the army painter, you can see it clearly.
The ironclad dred dosen't have this problem.

Assault Marine and Vanguard Veterans (both jetpack and foot versions) occasionally have stationary chainswords (intentional?).

Googled, searched in here but couldn't find any mention. As Space Marines, in skirmish, I am able to upgrade a 10-man Tactical Squad with TWO Heavy Bolters or TWO Flamers, etc. This isn't supposed to happen, is it? Am I missing something here? Was there a change in the latest codex? :?:

Isn't this able to be fixed in soulstorm? At least that's what I thought I heard...

It's possible to limit specific weapons to 1/squad, but you'll still be able to take for example a heavy bolter and a missile launcher.

Uhh If I remember playing Soul Storm, the Celestians had code where there was a limit to specific weapon upgrades i.e. 2 per melta gun and 2 per multi melta :|

I have an error where the standard bearer doesn't have a texture for his flag in game, I can see it in the army painter but not in game. I've reinstalled Fok but that hasn't fixed it. Its more or less minor, sure, but its annoying seeing this big grey flag.

Space marines have 2 command units which can take different standards. The space marine pictured was done by fleshpoint or bigfish (I Forget) and is part of the command squad. The other blank standard is currently not in game but is in the hands of SteveOcarty to work on now and it belongs to the Honor Guard unit.

was doing some messing around in a multiplayer skirmish with Kerevas, and found a pecular thing that just have to be a bug

-Chapter Master is immune to damage of any kind from the Blood Thirster
