As I promised, here is the list:
1. CSM Aspiring Champion chainsword - blades do not rotate.
2. Eldar Fire Prism - upper cabin is not smoothed.
3. Imperial Guard Chimera - diagonal line along the boards of the model
4. Space Marines Dreadnought - melooo forgot to smooth it's legs and (as I belive) it's lascannon and autocannon barrels and fists.
5. Rhino - was smoothed too much. Check front part of vehicle and windows.
6. Diagonal lines on the back door of Razorback.
7. Missile system and front part of Whirlwind have excessive smoothing. Also check front parts of it's side panels - some excessive polys there.
8. Vindicator - Pat forgot to smooth dozer blade.

Need to fix a few of those screenshots links - a few of them are duplicate links.

Space Marines tactical & devastator sergeants use wrong models & textures. Right now both of them use model of veteran sergeant having loincloth and having trim2-colorable trims & helmet. But in TT this sergeant have generic tactical armor with generic paint scheme. Can this be fixed?

Hi, folks!
We still have problem with Dreadnought (both generic & BT) - this time smoothing goes not very well, so that most surfaces on dread's sarcophagus, legs, arms and searchlight are "bubbled":
Image
Image
Image

Same problem with Whirrlwind chassis:
Image

And with Chimera (and with Hellhound in cases then it uses the same parts, like track guards for example):
Sorted now: pics are no longer needed and take up a lot of the thread ~ Horus

Also, front and rear parts of track guards are misaligned, so I suggest to lower front part of them to level it with the rear part, since if you will pull up rear part it will collide with side lasguns):
Image

Besides, I think that we should remove rear part of track guards at all, since on all pics I found on Internet and in Imperial Guard Codex Chimera only have front track guards (and I don't see it on sprue too):
Image

Also, Hellhound model (btw, Melooo - this model is really marvelous. IMO, so far it's the best model in Imperial Guard range in FOK, the rest of them only resembles TT miniatures in various degrees but Hellhound is an exact copy, which I like a lot!) misses some kind of cooler on rear side of it's turret:

Mesh Sorted.

The honor guard when using a relic blade seems to have a limp wrist... you can see this in the army painter as hi hand is not actually attached to his wrist :P.

Good. So we just need to align them properly. LR already have track guards, and btw, I like that Exterminator's turret.

its to do with the way the vertices are "connected" sometimes they can be connected really close to each other. while it can be ok it gets noticeable with specularity and such on and without proper lighting occlusion to direct it all it comes up like that ¬¬

never the less its very easy to fix.

I made the back part of the guard tracks deliberatedly lower because it was colliding with lasguns of the chimera, front part has the same position as relic's original model.....IMO it doesn't look bad but well.

For the land raider extra armour, id would rather suggest edit the "engine shaking" animation, make it more subtle so that visual glitch doesn't occur.

Hellhound, hmmmm well have to figure out were to place that part in the texture map.....will probably do at some point but right now im too lazy for that :P

I also have the Chimera's autocannon turret ammo drum pending xD

the smoothing on the chimera sides, and similar chassis variants are sorted now, they just need to be burned to the game.

whirl wind and razorback also sorted. don't see how the rear door has a line in it though :/

Great! :D I really love this model, Melooo.
At this moment, the only things I need to be completely happy is Horus's Leman Russ + Malcador and some Eldar stuff (finished Wraithguards, War Walkers and Swooping Hawks).

Land Raider with new extra armour have the same issue as all of above mentioned models - wrong smothing on sides + diagonal lines. Because of this, it looks "emboused" then use textures with spec. effect.

Dolhades, those arent "model errors", that goes too to what hellbrecth posted too....however i passed that out.

These units you listed were missing textures in 3.5

As to what is catalogued as "model error":
- its mainly "over smoothing" or the lack of it
- cliping of meshes
- animation glitches
- misaligned FX/events
- incorrect FX/events
- incorrect or bad texture mapping
- Pink meshes (texture file missing or no mapped mesh)
the list goes on but it certainly don't has unfinished textures or much less team coloring missing.

I know is kinda hard to know what model errors are if one arent too involved or familiar with the whole process of putting a model ingame, but if you're unsure of it, better post the error/bug in the threads that already exist for general bug reporting.

Tau XV89 Commander needs Deepstrike animations
Space Marine Plasma weapon glow and Flamer nozzle fire is not aligned properly
Ork Stormboyz fanny pack (that thing on his belly whatever it is) is screwed up

and I believe most of the errors in here haven't yet been tackled either ;)

GrOrc, the author of the Titanium Wars mod, had fixed a lot of models from FoK for his mod (and constantly complains on russian forums that you don't do it, lol), he said that you can contact him if you want.

That's because he is seriously retarded, imo. I wouldn't advice to use his "fixed" models since he often changes something (fire anims) in them in process of "fixing".

If he's going to complain and not lend a hand, i don't see why we should use his "fixes" even if he does mean well.

We know everything's not perfect. that's just how things go. if we were all perfectionists then we wouldn't have as much models and tweaks we have now.

Agree.
Well, his list of bugs can be useful too then. Unless it's small or he doesn't have one (which I am 70% sure).

He wants to lend a hand, but he wants you to contact him, not the other way round, for some reason.

It should be him making the effort to contact us  We can't know other peoples thoughts unless they voice them.

If he wants to lend a hand, that's fine we welcome it but im not going to actively seek out people. Its a huge waste of my time, and they can contact MK for now. I'm 90% or so retired.

had a look at titanium wars mod. warwalkers and swooping hawks from craftworld are indeed even now still in need of dire work. few things I found though:

Tau turret looks good. only requires some texture changes.
loving the Tau barracks upgrade.

it seems he at least knows how to do OE and animations. I will try with a small job like fixing one certain animation or OE to see if/how cooperation could work out.

Tau Barracks Turret Addon is from Riker's DowXP mod. Tau Turret & Mines are taken from TTRU. Btw, I still don't have access to "models" folder on SVN...

Nothing we can do about that. That's dibujante's area as its his repo essentially. until he goes online and can do it then we are stuck. you could be waiting weeks or even months. :(

Good day, brothers. I am GrOrc -- creator of the Titanium Wars Mod (TWM). I heard that you had interest about some fixes from TWM.
Helbrecht wrote:

This is incorrect words. Yes. I fixed some models from FoK and from some other mods. Some fixes are common nature (like synckills, firing progress, aim anims, etc.), but some other fixes are special for TWM (for example, changing FX for weapon fire and abilities, changing some sound effects, etc). Wrong words about "complains" and "contacts". I only said in true manner about my work in some forums, and in my readme file and change log for TWM. My work is opened for all modders. Anybody can use my work without contact with me (this is declared on Relicnews TWM thread). Just mention about GrOrc and TWM in your mod readme files and mod threads.
Patman42 wrote:

Yes. War Walkers and Swooping Hawks from Craftworld, but they were essentially remade by me in regard to OE-code and anims.

I fixed this models in the Titanium Wars Mod. Some part of TWM change log below:

- Model for ordinary Tau turrets was replaced (old model, but reworked by me).
- Tau Turrets (ordinary, advanced and for barracks) and Listening Posts were OE-coded. True Tau-style building animations were added. Firing progress was fixed. Aims were tuned.

See TWM readme file and TWM change log for details about model fixes in TWM framework. Some of them very useful for modders. Compare behaviour original models and models from TWM. See good differences. ;)

Sincerely yours, Grumbling Orc.

Inquisitor with Daemonhammer appears to be lacking a few finishing move animations. Several times I've seen him just stand there as an enemy is eviscerated in front of him. It's funny to me, actually. I like to think the Inquisitor is killing him just by staring at him.
